Karen's Biography :
Karen Tullai comes to United Real Estate with over 25 years of real estate transactional experience.
A two-time resident of Carmel, Indiana, Karen has a true passion for buying and selling real estate. Having owned more than fifteen homes in seven states, served on multiple subdivision boards, and authored a number of neighborhood covenants, Karen's clients benefit from her tremendous wealth of real estate experience. She is a savvy negotiator, a trusted advisor, and a genuine guide for all of her clients' real estate needs.
Karen has an MBA in Finance from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Michigan, earned a J.D. and is a commercial litigation attorney licensed in multiple states. Prior to her current role in real estate, Karen served in leadership positions in several law and business ventures. In addition to her work in Mergers and Acquisitions at Ford Motor Company and Textron Corporation, Karen served as chief counsel at two residential property development companies and worked as a commercial litigation and property attorney at prominent law firms in Chicago and Kalamazoo.
Karen and her family have settled in the Waterstone neighborhood on the east side of Carmel. Her two children attend Carmel public schools and she is an active participant in the Clay Middle School and Carmel High School PTO organizations. Karen is a leader of the Clay Middle School newcomers' group and is an active member of the International Women Indiana (IWI) club.
She and her family have a passion for international travel and enjoy experiencing different cultures and traditions. As a patron of Newfields (The Indianapolis Museum of Art), The Indianapolis Art Center, and the Civic Theatre, Karen also enjoys the enriching cultural experiences right here in her own backyard. She also enjoys golf, sailing, skiing, music, and bicycling on the Monon Trail with her family. On a nice day, you can find Karen and her dog Astro walking around Lake Waterstone.
